Brownish black Kobaien ink sticks ( 茶墨 )

Oil smoke black Sumi ink is made from soot produced by burning vegetable oil such as rapeseed oil, and the particles of the soot are fine and uniform.

Therefore, the black color of this ink is glossy and deep black with a brownish tinge.

It is said that oil somoke black Sumi ink tends to create a three-dimensional effect, making the drawn picture look as if it is coming forward.

If the recipient does not receive the package and it is returned to us, the buyer can either pay the shipping costs again and have the package shipped again from our office in Japan, or cancel the purchase and only receive the order price excluding shipping costs. We employ the least expensive means of preparing shipments in Japan. Therefore, it takes approximately 4-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) from the time your order is placed to the time it is shipped.

Returns

Only unused and unopened products will be accepted for return. In such cases, the customer is responsible for shipping costs. A return shipping fee of US$10 will be charged. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

To complete your return, please contact us or send us an email - arigato@the-worlds-oldest-inkstick.jp with the subject line “Return” stating the item you would like to return, your order number and reason for making the return.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed via PayPal.
