    Product information

    Hourai ( 蓬莱 ) is a bluish ink with the color of soot only, made with oil smoke for blue ink, developed through 400 years of ink making at Kobaien.

    The color is slightly grayish and bluish, with a hint of heaviness.

    It is suitable not only for calligraphy but also for ink painting.
