Product information

Hyakuseki-Koushi — 百 (hyaku, hundred) 石 (seki, stone) 公 (kou, noble) 子 (shi, person) — is a brownish ink made from rapeseed oil smoke with Kobaien's own unique processing.

Pushed dark, it deepens into a rich brownish black; thinned, it softens into a lighter brownish tone, equally at home at either strength.

A quietly noble stick, carrying a name that speaks of wealth and standing, ready to bring warmth to whatever it's asked to render — as fitting for a first attempt at a wash as for the darkest line on the page.

Width 23 mm, Length 90 mm, Thickness 9 mm, Weight 25grams
