This is a sample paper for evaluation. Please note that the size is smaller than the regular one.


This Hanshi (  Japanese traditional paper for calligraphy ) paper was selected by Kobaien as the most suitable paper for its flagship inkstick Koukaboku  for beginners.

The ink coloring is good and the color bleeding is less on this paper.

The name Teika is named after the famous old Japanese poet Fujiwara no Teika.

Great sample

I am a beginner and wanted to practice on nice paper, i ordered this Teika sample as well as the Aoi sample. Perfect size and amount for getting a good feel of the paper. The quality is very nice, and the price is great.
