    蒼 ( sou : pale blue ) 

    苔 ( tai : moss ) 

    Seiboku series are made from Kobaien’s finest oil smoke; most suitable for blue ink.

    Genuine indigo is used to produce a vivid and beautiful bluish black.

    I smell the scent of soutai inkstick and I become relaxed and ready to paint.
    The colour is so beautiful in all it's shades.

    Excellent ink stick with a bluish hue. High level of pigmentation, quality glue - in good proportion to pigment, and smells wonderful when ground. An absolute joy to use.
