墨( Zumi / Sumi  : ink ) 

Sakurazumi ( 桜墨 ) is an ink made with oil smoke and high quality glue, developed through 400 years of ink making at Kobaien.

The color of the ink is soothing and suitable for large works on paper, and the black color deepens quickly. Easy to rub on an inkstone.

The black color thickens quickly. This ink has a warm black color in dark ink and a slightly brownish black color in light ink.
