Beniiri takes its name from Beni (べに), saffron, and Iri (入り), contained within — a rapeseed oil smoke ink with a touch of saffron worked in to deepen and enrich the black.

It's made specifically for e-tegami, the Japanese tradition of illustrated postcards, where a single small stick needs to carry real character across a compact format.

At just 22.5mm wide, 82.9mm long, 10mm thick, and 28 grams, it's an easy, unintimidating size to keep on hand for quick studies or notes to friends.
