This Hanshi (  Japanese traditional paper for calligraphy ) paper was selected by Kobaien as the most suitable paper for its flagship inkstick Koukaboku  for beginners.

This paper easily contains ink and its bleeding is beautiful.

The name Aoi ( 葵 ) is named after the Alcea plant.
