Product information

Akyousumi — 阿 (a, rare) 膠 (kyou, glue) 墨 (sumi, ink) — is made from oil smoke and rare donkey glue, known as Akyou or Genkyou, a material Kobaien has refined through years of accumulated experience.

Donkey glue has long been prized among ink makers for the exceptional clarity and depth it can lend to sumi, a quiet rarity worked into every stick — the kind of detail that rewards those who notice what a glue, as much as a soot, can bring to the ink.
