Product information

Akyou Yuenboku — 阿 (a, rare) 膠 (kyou, glue) 油 (yu, oil) 煙 (en, smoke) 墨 (boku, ink) — is made from pure rapeseed oil smoke and rare donkey glue (Akyou / Genkyou), refined by Kobaien through years of accumulated experience.

Eva Tsang, painting with it, found the ink carried a genuine blue undertone, bright and highly saturated, and loved how mixing it with yellow produced secondary greens in different tones — exactly, she said, what her paintings called for.
