Margot Tohkou Olejniczak Presents "Paintings from the Heart" Sumi-e Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan
Margot has been a dedicated user of Kobaien ink stick for many years, bringing out its full potential in her artwork.
Swiss-based sumi-e artist Margot Tohkou Olejniczak will hold her solo exhibition "Paintings from the Heart" at Gallery TEN in Yanaka, Tokyo, from March 31 to April 5, 2026.

A licensed Japanese ink painting lecturer of Polish origin, she discovered sumi-e 25 years ago at the Tokyo National Museum and continues studying under Master Tohun Kobayashi, who bestowed her artistic name "Tohkou" in 2022.
Her accolades include honors from the National Art Center, Tokyo, and a Special Award from Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sumi-e workshops will also be offered during the exhibition.
