    Shourai means a pinecone

    松( shou : pine ) 

    籟 ( rai: cone ) 

    This inkstick is made by extracting and mixing oil smoke made from rapeseed oil and the most suitable pigment for blue ink from plants.

    The ink color is calm, Vivid and beautiful bluish black, avoiding extreme color tones.
